Day 3. Be still
Verse (King James Version)
Be still, and know that I am God
Psalm 46:10 (KJV, excerpt)
Read
It is hard to be still. There is always something to watch, play or answer. This verse is an invitation to stop for a moment, not a scolding. Being still does not mean your mind goes blank. It means giving your worries a break and remembering that you are not in charge of the whole world.
Talk about it
What is hardest about being still? What happens in your head when you try?
Try this
Put everything with a screen in another room for five minutes. Sit, breathe and notice what you hear.
